You ask me why not a human being first?
Let me tell you being Indian is all about being human. Living in this secular country with dozens and dozens of culture , one learns how to respect others and coexist peacefully with them. To help others in their needs and to be kind and respectful first and foremost, because that is what our traditions and history has taught us.
Even if I may criticise it alot ,
India this and India that ,
Even if I may scrutinize it alot,
Why India Why
And even if I may berate it a lot
No India No
This country is still MY country
And I am proud to be an Indian !
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam , a former president of India known by his various names such as The missile man, the people’s president etc passed away recently. As Indians grieved the loss of such an inspiration , an observation was made. In the words of Kalam, he is first and foremost a teacher. Such was the belief of this man in teaching that he even died while he was delivering a lecture. Not a coincidence or magic but the mans believe that knowledge should be passed on in whatever form or way.
The former president of India not only is an inspiration but a role model.
Even though coming from a sympathetic background , the missile man one day became a president , and not just any president BUT the people’s president.
You look at him, a muslim , but what you only see is a person reflecting the secularism of a nation as vast as India’s. Personally I do not care about a person’s race , colour, religion or anything other than whether he is kind or not and I was prooved right, Indians didn’t care if he was a muslim , all we ever cared about was that he was one of us, he knew and he understood !
Today, I feel proud that I lived to see the great missile man become a great legend because nobody deserved it more than him !
